System Settings (under Windows XP):
- Go to Start =>Control Panel =>Internet Options =>Security, and activate "Display mixed content".
- Go to Start =>Control Panel =>Internet Options =>Advanced.
Deactivate under "Security" the option "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" by removing the check. Screen Resolution: - Go to Start =>Control Panel =>Display => Settings and set the screen resolution to 1024x768. Note: The minimal requirement is 800x600. Please note that with higher resolutions than the one recommended, the font size in the menus will get very small.

For some applications in the partner portal of the BMW Group, it may be necessary, that a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version is installed on your system.

Browser:
- It is recommended to use Microsoft Internet Explorer version 8. Internet Explorer 10 is not being fully supported at present.
If you are using Internet Explorer 9, please activate "Tools -> Compatibility View" in order to make the portal menu work.
- Using UNIX, Mozilla Firefox from version 1.5 is supported in most applications.
Cookies must be activated - Go to Start =>Control Panel =>Internet Options =>Privacy, and set the controller to "Medium".
Deactivate the pop-up blocker for "bmw.com": - Ensure that the pop-up blocker is deactivated for address "bmw.com" in your browser. You can find a description of the settings here.
JavaScript needs to be activated - Make sure that in your browser JavaScript is activated.
