10 steps to get registered as a user

These brief instructions apply only for suppliers to BMW Group

  1. Please have your company's 6-digit BMW supplier number and the associated 2-digit supplier plant code ready .
  2. Click on the "You require registration?" link at https://b2b.bmw.com. Then please choose "Apply for registration".
  3. Enter your company's 6-digit BMW supplier number and the 2-digit supplier plant code and click on "Forward". (Please note that the 10-step instructions will still be available in the background.)
  4. In the next mask, you will be informed whether a master administrator has already been registered for your company. (A master administrator administrates the users of his company.)
    • If a master administrator has already been registered for your company click on Start registration. Proceed as described in step 5 of these instructions..
    • If no master administrator has been registered yet, your company management needs to appoint one (and notify BMW Group via fax of the nomination). Find more information on this procedure in Pfeil10 steps to get registered as a master administrator.
  5. Enter your last name, first name, email address and telephone number into the mask. Click on the field I consent to BMW AG's collection, processing, and use of my personal data". Activate "Create".
  6. You will immediately and automatically be informed that the data have been transmitted to your master administrator.
  7. As soon as your company's master administrator has approved your application you will receive two e-mails. One will contain your login name, and the other one will contain your password for your first login.
  8. About 10 minutes after receiving the two emails you will be able to log into the Partner Portal of BMW Group: For this purpose, go to the Portal's start page and log into the the "Login" window with your new login data. Enter your user name and password.
  9. Change your password.

  10. Your Portal Account is now active.

    Note: Please note that an active Portal Account entitles you simply to log on to the Partner Portal of the BMW Group. You will require a further, application specific authorization to use the applications integrated on the Portal. Please contact your Master Administrator to register for a specific application. Your Master Administrator will be able to grant you the corresponding authorizations for many applications or at least apply for them on your behalf. If your Master Administrator is unable to apply for the required application for you, the application in question will be a very specific application for a small user group.
